My Process
The artist uses a layering process to create her beautiful, colorful pieces. Layering enamels, oil paint, neo-pastels, galykds, linseed oil, dry pigments, gold leaf, epoxy and various found items, the artist creats chemical reactions that yield fascinating visual results. She often adds photographs or renderings of them right into the process, layering it with her visual interpretations of the emotions she felt at the time the snap was taken. The final layer of epoxy creates a dreamy window through which the rest of the images are seen - visually giving the viewer the feeling of memory. Enjoy images of these works below.
